Yoga for Men

Yoga for men: Accessible introduction to yoga

If you’re curious about yoga this is an opportunity to try it with a group all beginning their journey. An accessible, non-competitive, introduction to the principles of yoga, supporting you to learn how to modify your practice to suit you and build confidence to join a class.

Yoga practice can support you in building strength/ flexibility, with injury recovery, with chronic illness, with mobility, as a complement to other sports, for mental health, for relaxation, well-being, to find stillness etc). The class will include breath work, linking breath to movement, slow meditative movement, posture work for strength and flexibility and a short, guided meditation/relaxation.

Is this class for me?

If you’re interested in trying yoga (for any reason) and you can get up and down from standing to the floor, it’s for you.

You will need to complete a brief questionnaire (health/aims) in advance of the class which will inform the session and allow Emma to share modifications for your practice.  Yoga is traditionally taught 1:1, everyone needs a tailored practice.
