Stories can range from the profound to the prosaic; from a moment of personal clarity to an understanding of how to change a lightbulb and everything in between! As long as it’s true, happened to you and can tell it in under 5 minutes we’d love to hear it.

Come along to share your story in front of a friendly audience or just watch. You can sign up on the night and everyone is welcome from experienced storytellers to absolute beginners!

This is a one-off event especially commissioned for Kirkby Lonsdale’s Illuminate Festival.

What is the format?

Hosted by local creative, Jayne Davies, the evening will begin with a story. After which audience members will be invited to ‘illuminate’ us with their personal stories. There’ll be time for questions and conversations after each story and during the interval.
