Art of the Outdoors

Join local artist Janet Nuttall for a gentle, hands-on workshop exploring the art of pressing flowers. Janet will share how she presses and preserves plant material grown in her garden at the Old Vicarage, in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

The workshop includes a short, guided nature walk (weather permitting) where you will learn how to identify and collect suitable seasonal material for pressing. As February is still our winter flowers in bloom are limited. However, there is a wide variety of early plants, foliage, buds, mosses and hedgerow material that are ideal for pressing and observing at this time of year.

Booking essential as places are limited (10). Price includes light refreshments and all materials.
